Situated about 200 kilometers northwest of Riyadh in Al-Shagra, Al-Subaie Palace stands as a remarkable architectural testament to the Najdi heritage. Construction began in 1939 under Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Subaie, the local treasury official, and spanned four years. Its significance extends beyond its structure, having served as a welcoming royal residence for King Abdulaziz during his visits to the region.
