Situated in Saudi Arabia's Al-Qassim Province, Uyun al-Jiwa is an ancient oasis steeped in history and classical folklore. Celebrated as the homeland of the legendary pre-Islamic poet-warrior Antarah ibn Shaddad, the town is home to Hasat al-Nasla, an iconic split rock featuring centuries-old Thamudic inscriptions.
Today, visitors can explore its beautifully restored Najdi heritage village, featuring mudbrick architecture, the circular Souq al-Majlis market, historic watchtowers, and Al-Mashaqiq—an ancient network of underground water channels carved directly into the bedrock.
